Marialexandra Garcia

Is a seasoned political, community, and business leader recognized for her results-driven approach to governance, fiscal discipline, and civic empowerment. She currently serves as Treasurer of the Libertarian International, where she oversees the organization’s financial integrity and supports the expansion of libertarian cooperation across continents. Her leadership reflects a consistent commitment to transparency, accountability, and the responsible use of resources in advancing liberty worldwide.
Previously, Marialexandra served as Chair of the Libertarian Party of Miami-Dade, transforming it into one of the most successful chapters in the United States. Under her tenure, the chapter achieved historic milestones, electing more Libertarians to local office than any other at the time, and setting a national standard for strategic growth and grassroots organization.
She also held public office for four years on the Community Development District Board in Doral, Florida, where she led efforts to reduce local taxes by 50 percent while maintaining full community services. Her pragmatic, efficient approach to public finance exemplifies her belief that fiscal responsibility and strong local governance are key pillars of a free society.
Outside politics, Marialexandra is an accomplished entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in the fashion and garment industry, where she built and led direct-to-consumer brands focused on quality, customer trust, and sustainable growth. This business background sharpened her skills in finance, operations, and strategic planning, all of which she now integrates into her broader mission of strengthening libertarian institutions through professional management and principled leadership.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, Marialexandra combines financial acumen, political experience, and cross-cultural understanding in her enduring effort to promote freedom, responsibility, and voluntary cooperation around the world.
